Hvpb2 will still have a server online. Once released you won't have to download anything manually, the client will download the new bin automatically.

High Velocity Paintball is an online
multiplayer paintball game. You will test your skills in solo and team
based games alongside players from all over the world. You can play for free forever, or pay for some advanced
features. Regular play and Tournament play is available for all skill levels.
You can even join a team and work together. All of your character
information is stored on our servers, so don't worry about logging out and
losing any of your information.
